Sr IT Network Security Engineer/Architect - FT (NYC)Major global investment bank located in NYC is looking for a Senior IT Network Security Engineer, with a strong Infrastructure background, network design and planning, security analysis, system administration and stress testing; someone with experience in security components, procedures and protocols. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in network design, deployment strategy, network admission control and content scanning, also in back-end infrastructure and design. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate deep knowledge in networking, system administration and security. Must have programming experience with Core Linux, Java, C++ or C.
The candidate will join an existing engineering team in IT Security that has responsibility for designing, implementing and supporting network security solutions for a global investment bank. The candidate will supplement current team that is performing this role.
Key responsibilities for the role include (but not limited to):
- Liaising with global colleagues on the maintenance and development of new designs and standards
- Providing an escalation path for operations and deployment staff to resolve problems
- Work with project teams to design secure network connectivity
- Evaluate and certify new technologies or new versions of existing products
- Integrate new products into the infrastructure

Skills Required

Internal Controls Accountant - fulltime (NYC)
Summary
The primary responsibilities of this role will be to support the Director, Internal Controls to implement and manage the internal control program for the Company. This position is also responsible for the quality assurance review of the general ledger reconciliations prepared by respective account owners.
Organization
This position reports directly to the Director, Internal Controls and indirectly to the Vice President Finance & Administration and will interact with all levels of the Company and also interact with the UK parent company.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Implement the Company's methodology for compliance to the Group’s financial control initiative including planning the nature, timing, and extent of process documentation and testing procedures
• Perform assessment of financial reporting risk and validate assessment with key stakeholders
• Perform the annual ICOFR compliance planning and management giving consideration to changes in key accounts, risks and controls from previous assessments
• Provide assistance to process and control owners to periodically update documentation to reflect current financial reporting process
• Produce regular progress reports to local and UK management
• Provide consultancy and management support to Finance and non-Finance customer base
• Drive the internal control program into “business-as-usual” work effort
• Assist in development of new tools or processes to improve the way the business is operated or managed
• Ensure communication between all relevant people is taking place
• Give honest and accurate feedback on the internal control program performance
• Stay abreast of changes in the financial reporting processes, industry related changes, and regulatory changes to determine impact on internal control program

Experience and Education Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPAs and MBAs preferred.
• Insurance or Financial Services industry experience preferred

• Experience with SOX or the NAIC Model Audit Rule required
