Jatheon's Plug n Comply™ appliance is designed to simplify your organization's compliance and electronic discovery requirements. It provides a simple to install and easily operated single point of access for efficient management and e-discovery of electronic records. This not only includes email and instant messaging, but also all of their attachments that are communicated by these means.

Jatheon's next generation technology simplifies the way companies in regulated and non-regulated industries manage information whether it be to meet IT infrastructure, regulatory compliance or corporate governance requirements. The appliance provides a policy-driven real-time notification of compliance or governance infractions while offering a web based or integrated Outlook plug-in interface for both compliance professionals and end-users to access their data.
The appliance works across many network platforms and e-mail systems, with interfaces available for MS Exchange, GroupWise, and Lotus Notes. In addition to interfacing with messaging platforms, Jatheon has developed an innovative "packet sniffing" stealth acquisition technology that will allow the appliance to capture messages directly from the network even when customers outsource their mail services. The appliance itself is non-intrusive with a small footprint.

Today companies use e-mail as much, or more than other types of communication channels, making it vital for organizations to preserve electronic records. The demand for solutions designed for long-term storage and management of electronic messages is experiencing explosive growth. According to the Radicati Group, Inc., in 2006 the market for e-mail archiving solutions will reach $796 million in worldwide revenues, and will grow to almost $7.8 billion by the end of 2010.

 

Target Markets

E-mail archiving solutions help organizations of any size manage electronic documents in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. While any type and size of organization can benefit from deploying an e-mail archiving solution, some organizations (classed as Tier 1) have a higher degree of urgency for this solution.

Tier 1 organizations are required to preserve all email and electronic documents by law. These include companies in the following sectors: Insurance, Financial, Healthcare, Legal, and Government. In addition to these select industries, because of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, all publicly traded companies are also included in Tier 1.
